How I Work

My approach is grounded in clarity, discipline, and long-term thinking. I focus on understanding each client’s situation and priorities, then building a coordinated strategy designed to adapt as life and circumstances change.

Rather than relying on one-size-fits-all strategies, I emphasize thoughtful planning, clear communication, and ongoing guidance. The goal is simple: help clients make confident financial decisions with a plan that supports what matters most to them.

A team approach adds perspective to all I do and provides increased benefits to my clients.

Raymond Dahlman is a financial professional with a background rooted in leadership, accountability, and long-term planning. His career began with service in the U.S. Navy, where he served as a Team Leader responsible for the safety and post-flight maintenance of F/A-18 aircraft with VFA-106 at Naval Air Station Cecil Field in Jacksonville, Florida. In that role, Raymond also trained Naval personnel to become qualified F/A-18 troubleshooters and plane captains. During his service, he received the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal and the Good Conduct Medal.

After completing his military service, Raymond transitioned into the financial services industry, where he has spent years helping individuals and families address complex financial needs. He has held positions with several major financial services firms, assisting clients with long-term financial management strategies and working to improve the overall client experience.

Raymond takes a comprehensive, team-based approach to financial planning. He collaborates with tax professionals, attorneys, and insurance specialists to help ensure each client’s plan is cohesive, efficient, and aligned with long-term goals. His process integrates investments, insurance, retirement planning, estate considerations, and tax planning to help identify and address potential gaps that could leave families under-prepared or under-protected.

He focuses on building plans that reflect each client’s risk tolerance, income needs, and growth objectives, with an emphasis on diversification, appropriate insurance coverage, and tax-aware strategies.

Raymond earned the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) designation in 2007 through the College for Financial Planning in Denver, Colorado. He holds FINRA Series 6, 63, 65, and 66 licenses, as well as Life and Health Insurance licenses in Colorado and Texas. A native Houstonian, Raymond resides in Perry Park, Colorado with his wife, Leslie.

As the senior member of the team, Jake sets the standard for vigilance and professionalism, leading by example in backyard defense strategy and treat-negotiation oversight.

Nolan Dahlman
